PROGRAM PURPOSE

To understand how change affects people and organisations, providing practical, positive ways of introducing and bringing about change.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

On completion of the program the participants will be able to:

  • Understand how change affects both individuals and organisational effectiveness.

  • Deal effectively with the blocks to effectively manage change.

  • Develop practical strategies for implementing change within their organisation which involves all stake holders.

  • Build effective positive relationships as a prerequisite for effective change management.

        Exploring how change affects people, relationships and organisations.
      "Change Manager or a Change Deflector??"
        Exposing me for who I am.
      "Change is inevitable...just let it happen!"
        Why change needs to be managed...

    WORKSHOP 2 - CHANGE...OF SQUID AND CHAMELEONS"

      "We've never done it this way before..."
        Understanding your people and the culture of your organisation.
      "Come let us reason together"
        The art of effective communication...
      "Clearing the decks"
        Leaping the hurdles, dismantling the walls...
      "The Power of One"
        Walking the talk.
      "The Road Less Travelled"
        Planning for future change.

    PROGRAM DESIGN

    This program looks at Change Management in a very practical "hands on" way. It has been designed with Managers at all levels in mind. For those of us who have attempted any change, whether personal or at a business level, we know how difficult it can be. This Program has been developed from personal experience of over 25 years working with people in both the "for profit" and "not for profit" sectors. It has been divided into two half days to meet the busyness of your life. Between Workshop 1 and 2 there is an opportunity to reflect on what you have learned using the tools you will have been given.
